Judith Acevedo B.A. (Alberta), J.D. (Thompson Rivers University)
Judith practices Family Law and was called to the Bar in 2020.
In addition to Family Law, Judith can also assist with Wills and Estates matters. In addition to the traditional retainer model, Judith offers Limited Scope Retainers or unbundling services as well as notarial services.
Judith was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta. She graduated from the University of Alberta in 2014 with a BA in English and a minor in Political Science. She received her Juris Doctor from Thompson Rivers University (TRU). During Law School, she competed in the Kawaskimhon National Aboriginal Moot and was an editor for the Canadian Journal of Comparative and Contemporary Law. She was a Program Coordinator for Pro Bono Students Canada – TRU Chapter, managing a Law student program that provides free legal services to organizations and individuals in need. She also worked at the TRU Community Legal Clinic, assisting low-income individuals with various legal matters and facilitating access to justice.
Outside of work, Judith enjoys spending time with her family and friends, volunteering, and going for walks.
