Michelle Wakama LLB (Sheffield Hallam), MSc (London Bloomsbury), NCA (Federation of Law Societies of Canada)
Michelle is expected to finish her Articles in November 2024 and expects to be called to the Alberta Bar in December 2024.
Michelle graduated from Sheffield Hallam University in 2017 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) and then in 2019 she obtained an MSc in Law and Business Management from the University of Law, London Bloomsbury. Shortly after, she attended the Nigerian Law School in Lagos, Nigeria. In 2021 she became qualified to practice Law in Nigeria. After immigrating to Canada in 2022, she attended the University of Alberta where she completed the National Committee of Accreditation (NCA) accreditation course. During the course, she volunteered with the University of Alberta Student Legal Services in the Criminal and Civil/Family division as well as with the Edmonton Community Legal Center.
